Riziki Kateya

Maasai by origin, Riziki is from the Ngaramtoni Arusha area. She studied art at the Bagamoyo School of Arts and received a scholarship to study at the Kew Gardens in London, where she learned the fine art of horticultural art. Her keen eye and love of nature are reflected in her precisely detailed, lovely drawings. Riziki’s work helps scientists document the extraordinary plant species in Tanzania. Her art has been exhibited at Kew Gardens and the National History Museum in London, and at Mawazo Gallery in Dar es Salaam.
