Bicycle Shed

Explore the farm by bicycle at your leisure, or join us for a guided tour of Thloma Village (1.5 hours). For the more adventurous, take a mountain bike day trip to Rhotia (2.5 hours), an unforgettable way to experience rural Tanzania. Subject to availability.

Safari Day Trips

Book a half or full day safari to one of the nearby wildlife regions: Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Eyasi or Lake Manyara. Experience the Big Five, cultural safaris and exceptional game viewing opportunities in 3 distinct location, all less than a 2-hour drive from the Farm.

Coffee Processing

Gibb's Farm has 30 acres of organically cultivated, rich Arabica coffee fields. The beans are processed and roasted on the estate. At certain time s of the year, you can view the process in this area of the farm.

Tembo Fire Tales

The evening begins here for many guests, with a golorious sunset accompanied by a refreshing drink. Our naturalists & traditional healer share stories about elephants, traditional medicine, Maasai legends and tales of tribal folklore.

Cow milking

Join us in the farmyard and experience something unique as you collect fresh milk through the traditional method of cow-milking - by using your hands. Be part of the rhythms of the farm.

Pig Out

After a feast on leftovers from the kitchens, join the pigs as they enjoy their private mudbath.

Egg Collecting

Spend time with our clucking brood of hens and collect eggs for the kitchen team, who use them for baking and breakfast.
